Schindlerhof Learning Journey to Germany
Starkevents have worked with Scottish Enterprise since 2002 to design and produce the 3 day
learning journey trip to the Schindlerhof Hotel and Conference Centre, which is world renowned for
excellence in Customer Service, Innovation and Staff Development. In 2009, Shindlerhof were
awarded for the third time in a row as the best workplace in Europe in the hospitality industry.
The Learning Journey programme allows delegates to gain an in depth glance at the unique approach
taken to operate and manage the Hotel and Conference Centre. Programme content is delivered
through the 'Glow and Tingle' workshop programme which has been developed and tailored for
Scottish attendees by Klaus Kobjoll and includes an intensive look at Leadership, Service Quality,
Innovation, Staff Selection and Retention and the process of continued improvement. As well as
seminar sessions there is the opportunity to explore how the processes and systems work in practice.
Starkevents cover all logistical elements of the trip and customer care including, delegate registration
and confirmation, invoicing and payment, all travel and logistical arrangements including flights and
transfers, pre event material and post event delegate evaluation.
