Scottish Enterprise Visitor Experience Conference
Starkevents worked with Scottish Enterprise to design a bespoke Conference looking at the tourism product from the visitor's perspective. The inaugural Scottish Enterprise Visitor Experience conference was held at the 5* visitor attraction, the Glasgow Science Centre, and creatively utilised each of the event spaces within the venue.
The conference focussed on how to improve the 'visitor experience' available to tourists in Scotland and the new feedback initiative Listening to Our Visitors' was launched by the Tourism Minister, Jim Mather MSP. There were also a wealth of international case studies delivered by speakers from Prince Edward Island, Santiago de Compostela, California and the Mayor of Queenstown.
Starkevents were involved in all of the planning stages of the conference from the initial conception to the delivery on the day, with the event being extremely well received by the 200 tourism businesses who attended.
